ABOUT ✴ Artificially created through DNA management and was then raised and educated in government care; as a result, he has no family and has lived a very sheltered life. ✴ Genetic modifications include resistance to extreme temperatures, a boosted immune system, increased durability, genius level IQ, and above average stamina and agility. ✴ The metal coverings over his ears are a type of Eldarian accessory; he has pointed, fleshy ears underneath them. ✴ There are no real notable biological differences between Earthlings and Eldarians. The latter have pointed ears, symbological abilities, live longer, age more gracefully, and have a wider spectrum of naturally occurring hair colors but that's about it. ✴ Has a number of blue tattoos on his body, allowing him to use symbology. Save for the ones around his wrists, these are all covered by his clothes. ✴ He's left handed, which is immediately obvious since he wears his sword on his right hip. ✴ Skilled in alchemy, allowing him to transmute metals as well as create a small number of potions and fairies (artificial lifeforms used in equipment synthesis) ✴ Shares a name with the Goetic demon Beleth, a fallen angel and king of hell. Not that Faize himself has any idea, it's just the Meaningful Name trope at work. SYMBOLOGY Faize specializes in Earth, Ice, and Darkness element symbols. ✴ Earth Glaive: Causes a blade of stone to burst forth from under the target's feet, tossing them into the air. ✴ Antidote: Purifies a single target of poison. ✴ Ice Needles: Launches six razor-sharp needles of ice towards the target. ✴ Stone Rain: Opens a rift over a targeted area and rains countless rocks upon everything within range. ✴ Shadow Needles: Launches five needles of darkness at the target from behind. ✴ Enlighten: Temporarily increase a single target's intelligence stat by 30%. (makes a magic user's spells stronger) ✴ Deep Freeze: Cools the air in a targeted area, freezing whatever is within range from ground up. ✴ Vampiric Blade: Creates a disc of darkness around the caster that absorbs the MP of whatever is nearby. ✴ Terra Hammer: Digs up three giant, pointed boulders then smashes them to the ground, damaging whatever is within range. ✴ Dark Devourer: Temporarily summons a many-headed shadow creature from the Netherworld which mindlessly follows the target with the intent to feast upon it. ✴ Reaping Spark: Creates four black spheres that slice up anything inside. ✴ Extinction: Encases the target in a ball of light, then releases the energy inside, resulting in an explosive blast. ✴ Eldarian Armor: Body armor made from a highly resilient material. It looks more like a uniform than armor but apparently this is how they do things on Eldar. Offers minor defense, consists of way too many layers, and is self-cleaning. |

[One unnecessary breakfast reference and a quick trip upstairs later, Hinata and Faize are, once again, closed off inside Faize's room to talk about a motive that struck a little too closely. Faize is having the weirdest sense of reverse deja vu right now.]

He fidgets with his sleeve a little as he takes a seat on the edge of his bed. His room is much the same as it always is, though Hinata will notice an open jar of origami stars on his bedside table that's definitely a new addition. For some reason, there's a single star sitting on the table itself, next to Alisha's paper flower.]

[Well that motive sure is a thing that shouldn't be a thing, at least for two of the people that were gathered in the lobby. While Hinata had gone to speak with Poland, Faize had quietly slipped out of the lobby and disappeared into the secret room behind the confessional. Because what the hell, Katerina, you can't double dip with hostages like this??? That's not how it works!!]
[Once the matter had been settled, Faize made his way swiftly back to the hotel, hoping to find Hinata quickly to relay the news. He'd gone somewhere with Poland, right? So one of their rooms was probably the best place to check first. He doesn't even make it all the way up to the second floor, however, before running into Hinata in the stairwell.]

Once she's gone, Faize ushers Astrid across the hall and into his room. Once they're inside, he sighs, leaning against the door for a moment before fixing Astrid with a sharp look.]

[While Faize is certainly glad that apparently this week is a "break" in their regularly scheduled murder, mayhem, and madness. But it's hardly enough to put all his worries at ease. [For some reason the lights apparently have to be off for this game (or so said Jade in Hinata's thread so here we are for consistency's sake), but Faize really wishes this wasn't the case.
