[Did Poland even do whatever vague method of pairing up determination they're using? He's pretty sure she didn't but okay, here they are. Literally in the closet.]
[What up, Poland? Are you actually going to smooch the elf after all?]

Want me to ask her if she likes you back?
[What is this 9th grade?]

[He actually looks vaguely horrified at the thought.]
Please, don't...don't say anything to her at all.

How come?

[It's really not that hard of a question but apparently he's struggling with an answer here.]
...because.
[Faize, did you really just go there.]

[Poland is waiting for the end of a sentence that doesn't seem to be coming. Which is weird because-- ooh. ooh.]

Really, really like her?
[She's trying to be more mature about this now.]

[He got it bad. This is actually really kind of sad.]

Oh my god Faize-- why do you look so distraught? Liking girls is the best!
[It's one of her favorite things to like.]

...right, of course. Though that is proving to be easier said than done. Most of the time, I feel as though I am losing my mind.
[Not a good thing for someone who has lived his whole life on the logical and narrow.]

Listen. Love isn't always logical or makes sense all the time. But when it goes right it's really good, so like. Don't be overly scared of it.
Just take it at your pace! [But not too slow because you two could be dead Friday morning just saying.]

...somehow, such knowledge only makes the prospect more horrifying. [NOT LOGICAL? Say it ain't so!] How can any species thrive with such a powerfully irrational force driving their actions? Nice though it may feel at times, it's simply astonishing that humankind has lasted as long as it has, on any planet, without destroying itself.
